John James Audubon House

WMG completed a historic wood window restoration for John James Audubon House & Barns, a member of the National Register of Historic Places.

John James Audubon House

The John James Auduhon House is located in Montgomery County Pennsylvania and was the first American home of artist John James Audubon. Here, Audubon became fascinated with the beauty of American flora and fauna. Audubon went on to produce The Birds of America, a book which rfeatured life size detailed paintings of North American Birds. WMG completed a historic wood window restoration on a classic palladian window in addition to restoring all barn windows and rebuilding a porch railing. This project also included the fabrication of custom casement windows and railing components — and a broader scope of millwork restoration.
