WMG Historic Restoration is a certified woman-owned small business founded and managed by husband-and-wife team Rebekah and Michael Gallant.

The People Behind The Craft
Together the Gallants pursue excellence, efficiency, and integrity in their historic restoration work in and around the Greater Philadelphia areas since 2010. When Michael and Rebekah aren’t managing restoration projects for WMG clients, they stay busy working on restoring their own 18th century patterned brick farmhouse in South Jersey, where they live with their three children and German Shepherd.

Michael Gallant, Owner
Michael founded WMG Historic Restoration in 2008, after working as a project manager and lead carpenter on a variety of historic projects.
His love of buildings started when he was 10 years old and he spent his summers in New Hampshire scraping and painting historic clapboard homes. It was there that he first learned how to putty glaze and restore original wood windows. Inspired by the architecture of colonial New England, he attended the heritage carpentry program at Algonquin College in Perth, Ontario. Michael went on to work in the preservation trades in Canada, New Hampshire, and Maryland before founding WMG in 2010. Today, Michael oversees all of WMG’s field work, including estimating, quality control, and project management.

In addition to a certificate from Algonquin College, Michael holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Michigan.
Rebekah Gallant, Owner
Rebekah Gallant joined WMG in 2016 and brought with her a deep background in business development and relationship management.
Rebekah manages WMG’s business operations, including all finance, human resources, and marketing functions.

Rebekah holds a Bachelors degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and a Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
