First Bank of the United States

WMG completed the restoration of all 66 window openings for the First Bank of the United States in Philadelphia.

First Bank of the United States

The First Bank is over 31,000 square feet large and was built in 1791. For this window restoration, we extracted all of the window sash, using an insulated board-up approach to keep the building warm. The restoration included deglazing, paint stripping, muntin repair, reglazing, repainting, exterior sill repairs, and reinstallation on all 66 openings.
